Weekly Photo Challenge: Peek
The top of the Crain Communications Building (formerly the Smurfit-Stone) rising above the trees in Millennium Park. It is a perception photo. The trees are at least 4 blocks away from where the building sits on the corner of Randolph and Michigan in Chicago. The building was designed to provide a lake view for the maximum of offices and to resemble a boat sail.

Holy Name Cathedral opened in 1874 and became the seat of the Archdiocese of Chicago. It was built after the Chicago Fire destroyed the Cathedral of St. Mary. An attic fire closed it for most of 2008 and 2009. It’s Midnight Mass on Christmas is broadcast around the world via WGN TV.
